Patching takes too much time and focus, with too many cables. With SoundNet Labs, keep your patch connected with your cases closed. Save time and mental capacity to direct toward other challenges of your day.
At SoundNet Labs we know you are the kind of sound people and musicians who don’t want to waste time and focus on patching, you need to patch less.
Patching every input day-in and day-out takes way longer than it should. It is frustrating when problems arise, costing valuable time during a soundcheck or, worse yet, a show. We believe in this technology age, there must be a better solution to patch at a cost that is reasonable. We understand the value for efficiency in our work on the long days we live. That’s why we started SoundNet Labs and why we chose analog audio over Ethernet.
Here’s how it works:
A shielded Ethernet cable runs 4 channels of balanced analog audio, transparently. Drums, key rigs, guitar modelers (Kemper, Fractal, etc), playback (live track) systems, downstage inputs (vocals, etc.), wireless systems – Each of these multi-channel items can patch quickly and simply. With a few SoundNet Labs products you can patch all of your inputs quickly. The real benefit is that you leave your patch connected (patchbays, wireless racks, playback racks, Kemper racks, etc.) saving you time every day.
So simplify your days by patching less. Purchase Soundnet Labs products on Amazon and tell us how you patch less every day, saving time and frustration.
SoundNet Labs builds with genuine Neutrik connectors and Mogami Wire to uphold the highest audio quality standards.
We manufacture all of our products in Nashville, TN. Engineering designed to outlast expectations without the need for service or replacement.

“Using traditional subsnakes cost us way too much valuable time at summer festivals. ‘Throw and go’ really takes a toll on your crew. We needed something better to ensure we met the time requirements to get on and off-stage. SoundNet Labs drop boxes were the trick to getting us on and off quickly. Unplug a few EtherCon cables and everything rolled offstage in seconds.”

Yes, analog audio over Ethernet systems need a shielded Ethernet cable to hold the ground connection as well as offer the traditional shielding found in XLR cables. Without using a shielded Ethernet cable you will have no ground on any of your channels and less from outside interference.
Yes, phantom power works, 300’+.
No, as we mentioned shielding is important, but any Cat will work!
Analog audio over shielded Ethernet operates similar to standard balanced XLR cable. We test 300’+.
Cost is a huge factor in considering traditional multipin systems. The cost of those systems for full patch solutions are thousand of dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. We are not satisfied with the value that those systems offer.
There are some great products already on the market made by excellent companies! There are also many very poor quality offerings made inexpensively with little to no quality control. The poor build quality of one of those products was the reason why we stated SoundNet Labs. We needed something that we would not need to fix or replace, something that is road ready for years of service.
